Gnutti Transfer has remained faithful to its ability
to look ahead and to take up the most innovative
challenges.
This is witnessed not just by its history as a leading
engineering company, but also by its willingness
to sponsor new events aimed at favouring initiatives
in the world of culture and solidarity, such as
the Florence Cow Parade 2005.
The Cow Parade is the largest public art event
in the world as it takes place in the streets
and squares of Chicago, New York, London, Tokyo
and Prague, just to mention a few.
The works of art are in fact life size fibreglass
cows, on which the artists create their works,
using them as authentic three-dimensional canvasses.
Florence too, art city par excellence, transformed
itself into a large open-air contemporary art
gallery - in direct contact with the public -
from 22 October 2005 to January 2006.
Organised to collect funds for the Meyer Foundation
and the New Florence Paediatric Hospital, the
Florence Cow Parade also witnessed the "Non
ingrano, ma ingranaggio" cow on show by the
artist Kore, sponsored by Gnutti Transfer. Today
this cow cuts a fine figure in the yard in front
of the Ospitaletto plant.
